New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque can't hold off West Mesa

The West Mesa Mustangs basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Albuquerque Bulldogs to 42 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capital for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. West Mesa will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 78-34 non-league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-2.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Hope Christian was nudged by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 57-50, in a non-league contest.
