Albany Comets (Albany, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Shullsburg Miners (Shullsburg, WI), 66-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Albany upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Big Foot (Walworth, WI) to play the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 12. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Miners play the Seneca Indians (Seneca, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Shullsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 47-34 league win over Weston (Cazenovia, WI).
