The Coronado Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and held the host College Station Cougars to 50 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highlands for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Coronado will meet a Owls team coming off a 77-18 non-league loss to Coppell (Coppell, TX). The Owls record now stands at 5-9.
The Cougars (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hays (Buda, TX). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Hays nudged Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX), 65-45, in a non-league contest.
