Colorado High School Basketball - Custer County overwhelmed by La Junta

The Custer County Bobcats basketball team (Westcliffe, CO), was overwhelmed 39-12 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO)

The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rye for a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks battle on Tuesday, December 6. La Junta will confront a Thunderbolts team coming off a 33-29 non-league loss to Swink (Swink, CO). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 0-2.

The Bobcats (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sangre de Cristo (Mosca, CO). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Sangre de Cristo trounced Cheraw (Cheraw, CO), 43-41, in a non-league battle.
