North Carolina High School Basketball - East Columbus crushes Hobbton

December 1, 2022: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450

East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 62-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Columbus upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Gators host Red Springs (Red Springs, NC) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Red Springs won 36-18 in their recent non-league bout against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Hobbton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
