The Olympia Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Farmington Farmers to 35 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heyworth for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Olympia will battle a Hornets team coming off a 41-32 league loss to Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 2-4.

The Farmers (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Princeville (Princeville, IL). The Princes enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Princeville ran past Stark County (Toulon, IL), 46-32, in a league contest.
