The Hempstead Bobcats basketball team scored 22 points and restricted the host Round Top-Carmine Cubs to 20 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bobcats now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rice Consolidated for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Hempstead will battle a Raiders team coming off a 66-19 non-league loss to Boling (Boling, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-6.
The Cubs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Elkhart (Elkhart, TX). The Elks come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Elkhart edged Carlisle (Price, TX), 73-38, in a non-league contest.
