California High School Basketball - John Adams Academy knocked off by Highlands

The Highlands Scots basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting John Adams Academy Patriots to 22 in the Scots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Scots now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mesa Verde for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Highlands will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 79-32 non-league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-1.

The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Casa Roble was defeated by Valley Christian (Roseville, CA), 66-50, in a non-league contest.
