Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), 43-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Prospect upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA) to play the Aztec Warriors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Aztec Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Yerba Buena lost 47-24 in their recent non-league bout against Independence (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the 76ers play the North Salinas Vikings (Salinas, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 70-51 non-league win over Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA).
