La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Laguna Hills Hawks (Laguna Hills, CA), 32-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, La Quinta upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Avalon (Avalon, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Avalon lost 58-18 in their recent non-league bout against Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Costa Mesa Mustangs (Costa Mesa, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Laguna Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
