St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA), 64-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Albert upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Falcons host Clarinda (Clarinda, IA) to play the Cardinals in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Friday, December 2. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Clarinda won 61-17 in their recent league bout against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA) in a Western Iowa bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Logan-Magnolia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Big Reds go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 61-12 league loss to Treynor (Treynor, IA).
