Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Republic County Buffaloes (Belleville, KS), 53-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Thayer Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Titans host Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Lawrence-Nelson lost 45-33 in their recent non-league bout against Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE)

Next up, the Buffaloes clash with the Superior Wildcats (Superior, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Republic County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 43-30 league win over Sutton (Sutton, NE).
