West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM), 49-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Mesa upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Albuquerque will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 71-66 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
