In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Notus Pirates basketball team scored a tight 32-28 triumph over the Council Lumberjacks.

In their next game, the Pirates meet the Murtaugh Red Devils (Murtaugh, ID) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 3. Notus will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 34-31 non-league win over Liberty Charter (Nampa, ID).
