North Carolina High School Basketball - Wheatmore overwhelms Ledford

December 1, 2022: Trinity, NC 27370

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) and the visiting Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC), saw Wheatmore's basketball squad wallop Ledford by a tally of 72-48.

With the victory, Wheatmore improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to West Davidson (Lexington, NC) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 7. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Panthers play the East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Ledford will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 75-43 non-league loss to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC).
