The Walsingham Academy Trojans basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Portsmouth Christian Patriots to 42 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Veritas School for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Walsingham Academy will meet a Lions team coming off a 46-27 league win over The New Community School (Richmond, VA). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy was outscored by Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA), 47-46, in a non-league contest.
