Summerville Bears (Tuolumne, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ripon Christian Knights (Ripon, CA), 39-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summerville upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears host Calaveras (San Andreas, CA) to play the Redhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Calaveras lost 39-33 in their recent non-league bout against Riverbank (Riverbank, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Ripon Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 79-46 non-league loss to Patterson (Patterson, CA).
