Westwood Panthers (Fort Pierce, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sebastian River Sharks (Sebastian, FL), 47-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Westwood upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Okeechobee (Okeechobee, FL) to play the Brahmans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Brahmans come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Okeechobee lost 38-37 in their recent non-league bout against Pahokee (Pahokee, FL)

Next up, the Sharks play the Treasure Coast Titans (Port St. Lucie, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Sebastian River will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
