Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Santana Sultans (Santee, CA), 4-1 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Coronado moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Islanders travel to Montgomery (San Diego, CA) to battle the Aztecs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Montgomery won 6-1 in their recent non-league bout against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA)
In their next game, the Sultans battle the Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Santana will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
