Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), 48-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Americas upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Trail Blazers travel to Permian (Odessa, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Permian lost 68-62 in their recent non-league bout against Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 52-41 non-league win over McCallum (Austin, TX).
