The Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) basketball felled the host Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY), 68-55 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Dawson Springs thwarted Heritage Christian Academy (Hopkinsville, KY), 68-58, in a non-league test.

The Braves now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Livingston Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Union County will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 80-63 league win over Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.
