Valor Preparatory Academy Knights (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Aquilla Cougars (Aquilla, TX), 65-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valor Preparatory Academy upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Penelope (Penelope, TX) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Penelope won 54-38 in their recent non-league bout against Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Bynum Bulldogs (Bynum, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Aquilla will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 36-32 non-league loss to Kopperl (Kopperl, TX).
