The Astoria Fishermen basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Molalla Indians to 45 in the Fishermen non-league triumph on Friday.

The Fishermen now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Marion for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Astoria will battle a Huskies team coming off a 68-66 non-league win over North Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 2-0.

The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Sweet Home was routed by Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR), 60-55, in a non-league contest.
