In Friday's non-league match, the host West Branch Warriors basketball team scored a good 67-59 triumph over the Beaver Beavers.
The Warriors now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Range for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. West Branch will confront a Raiders team coming off a 71-61 non-league loss to Louisville (Louisville, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
The Beavers (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Crestview (Columbiana, OH). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Crestview was toppled by Lowellville (Lowellville, OH), 48-45, in a non-league battle.
