The Ichabod Crane Riders basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs to 53 in the Riders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Riders now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schalmont for a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty contest on Tuesday, December 5. Ichabod Crane will battle a Sabres team coming off a 48-44 non-league win over Gloversville (Gloversville, NY). The Sabres record now stands at 1-0.

The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Hill (Castleton on Hudson, NY). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Maple Hill nudged Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY), 56-47, in a league contest.
