Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elmwood Royals (Bloomdale, OH), 86-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bluffton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Kenton (Kenton, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Kenton won 57-36 in their recent non-league bout against Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH)

Next up, the Royals play the Arlington Red Devils (Arlington, OH) in a Blanchard Valley bout, on Friday, December 8. Elmwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 68-44 non-league win over Kalida (Kalida, OH).
