Ohio High School Basketball - Boardman edges Lake

December 1, 2023: Youngstown, OH 44512

The Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH), 51-50 in Friday's non-league test.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Memorial (Campbell, OH). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Memorial got by Badger (Kinsman, OH), 69-64, in a non-league test.

The Blue Streaks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Perry for a Federal test on Friday, December 8. Lake will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 51-47 non-league loss to Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
