Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Milano Eagles (Milano, TX), 48-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brazos upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to La Grange (La Grange, TX) to play the Leopards in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 6-4. La Grange won 63-54 in their recent non-league bout against Mumford (Mumford, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Milano will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 46-40 non-league win over Cisco (Cisco, TX).
