Illinois High School Basketball - Liberty can't hold off Camp Point Central

The Camp Point Central Panthers basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Liberty Eagles to 30 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Camp Point Central will battle a Trojans team coming off a 61-35 non-league win over Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL). The Suns enter the West Central contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Augusta Southeastern was nudged by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL), 49-35, in a non-league contest.
