Texas High School Basketball - Midway nips Canyon

Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), 53-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Midway upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lake Travis (Austin, TX) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 10-0. Lake Travis won 63-36 in their recent non-league bout against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX)
Next up, the Cougars play the McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 67-63 non-league win over Midway (Waco, TX).
