In their next game, the Spartans face the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 game, on Tuesday, December 5. Centennial will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 5-4 record after their 58-48 non-league win over Connally (Waco, TX).

With the defeat, Weslaco moves to 4-7 on the year. The Panthers host Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX) to face the Huskies in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 5. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 1-11. Juarez-Lincoln lost 85-18 in their recent non-league game against Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX)
