Michigan Center Cardinals (Michigan Center, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels (Brighton, MI), 47-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Michigan Center upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Jonesville (Jonesville, MI) to play the Comets in a Cascades bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Jonesville lost 50-40 in their recent non-league bout against Hillsdale (Hillsdale, MI)

Next up, the Sentinels play the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 66-26 non-league loss to Perry (Perry, MI).
