Nebraska High School Basketball - Chase County tops McCook

December 1, 2023: Imperial, NE 69033

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) and the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE), saw Chase County's basketball squad knock off McCook by a count of 58-45.

With the victory, Chase County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Sidney (Sidney, NE) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Sidney won 71-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Brush (Brush, CO)

Next up, the Bison play the Valentine (Valentine, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. McCook will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 54-40 non-league loss to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE).
