De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Leo Lions (Chicago, IL), 71-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, De La Salle upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Meteors travel to St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 5-1. St. Francis won 64-49 in their recent non-league bout against Christ the King (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Lions play the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Leo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 49-44 non-league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL).
