Dunn Earwigs (Los Olivos, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA), 77-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dunn upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Earwigs host Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Capistrano Valley won 69-49 in their recent non-league bout against Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the Pioneer Valley Panthers (Santa Maria, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Valley Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 80-50 non-league loss to Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA).
