The San Marcos Academy Bears basketball team (San Marcos, TX), was overwhelmed 87-62 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Eastside Early College Panthers (Austin, TX)

The Panthers now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Travis for a 5A Region III District 24 battle on Tuesday, December 5. Eastside Early College will confront a Rebels team coming off a 50-49 non-league win over Hyde Park (Austin, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 1-4.

The Bears (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record.
