South Carolina High School Basketball - Fairfield Central knocked off by North

December 1, 2023: North, SC 29112

The North Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Fairfield Central Griffins to 54 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethune-Bowman for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. North will battle a Mohawks team coming off a 57-26 non-league loss to Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC). The Mohawks record now stands at 1-1.

The Griffins (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC). The Diamond Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Lower Richland was defeated by Lexington (Lexington, SC), 70-59, in a non-league contest.
