Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA) and the visiting Gateway Gators (San Francisco, CA), saw Mt. Diablo's basketball squad hold off Gateway by a tally of 71-70.

With the victory, Mt. Diablo improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Eureka (Eureka, CA) to play the Loggers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Loggers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Eureka won 73-64 in their recent non-league challenge against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA)

Next up, the Gators play the Bentley Phoenix (Lafayette, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Gateway will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 53-22 non-league loss to St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA).
