Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Hamilton Wildcats (Memphis, TN), 80-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hyde Park upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Pace Academy won 77-38 in their recent league bout against Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Danville Warriors (Danville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 64-49 non-league win over Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN).
