The Norristown Eagles basketball team scored 85 points and held the visiting Harry S. Truman Tigers to 61 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Great Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Norristown will play a Patriots squad coming off a 52-42 non-league win over MAST Community Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.

Next up, the Tigers play the Council Rock North Indians (Newtown, PA) in a Suburban One - Patriot bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Harry S. Truman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
