Alabama High School Basketball - Mountain Brook trounces Hartselle

The Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Hartselle Tigers (Hartselle, AL), 59-34 in Friday's non-league test.

The Spartans (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Vestavia Hills was trounced by Homewood (Homewood, AL), 60-56, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Austin for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Hartselle will encounter a Black Bears squad coming off a 125-4 non-league win over Decatur (Decatur, AL). The Black Bears record now stands at 9-3.
