Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Highland Hornets (Medina, OH), 61-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Walsh Jesuit upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors host Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Stow-Munroe Falls won 69-64 in their recent non-league bout against Jackson (Massillon, OH)

Next up, the Hornets play the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH) in a Suburban - American bout, on Friday, December 8. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
