Nevada High School Basketball - Hug can't hold off Reed

The Reed Raiders basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Hug Hawks to 49 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sage Ridge for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Reed will battle a Scorpions team coming off a 63-49 non-league loss to Founders Classical Academy (Las Vegas, NV). The Scorpions record now stands at 0-3.

The Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fairmont Prep (Anaheim, CA). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Fairmont Prep nudged Fernley (Fernley, NV), 65-45, in a non-league contest.
