The IC Catholic Prep Knights basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Marmion Cadets to 44 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brother Rice for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. IC Catholic Prep will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 45-38 league win over Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-0.

The Cadets (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Friars enter the Chicago Catholic - Blue contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Fenwick nudged Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 56-47, in a non-league contest.
