Indiana High School Basketball - Jay County tops Woodlan

December 1, 2023: Portland, IN 47371

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) and the visiting Woodlan Warriors (Woodburn, IN), saw Jay County's basketball squad knock off Woodlan by a count of 55-42.

With the victory, Jay County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Warriors play the Angola Hornets (Angola, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Woodlan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 65-44 non-league loss to Concord (Elkhart, IN).
