Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX), 60-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jay upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Harlingen South lost 60-42 in their recent non-league bout against Jay (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Pflugerville Connally will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 49-39 non-league win over McAllen (McAllen, TX).
