The New Richmond Tigers basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Kennedy Eagles to 38 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Falls for a Big Rivers contest on Tuesday, December 5. New Richmond will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 56-39 non-league win over La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Croix Prep (Stillwater, MN). The Lions enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, St. Croix Prep was ripped by Patrick Henry (Minneapolis, MN), 90-54, in a non-league match.
