Texas High School Basketball - Ridge Point tops La Vega

Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX), 62-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ridge Point upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Mexia (Mexia, TX) to play the Black Cats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Black Cats come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Mexia lost 64-43 in their recent non-league bout against University (Waco, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the University Trojans (Waco, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. La Vega will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 64-43 non-league win over Mexia (Mexia, TX).
