In Friday's non-league outing, the Lake Hornets (Lake, MS) basketball squad beat the visiting Pisgah Dragons (Sandhill, MS), by a margin of 47-36.
The Hornets (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Newton County defeated Quitman (Quitman, MS), 54-51, in a non-league outing.
The Dragons now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Richland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 5. Pisgah will clash with a Rangers squad coming off a 60-30 non-league loss to Forest (Forest, MS). The Rangers record now stands at 5-4.
