The Mt. Gilead Indians basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Loudonville Redbirds to 55 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lucas for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Mt. Gilead will meet a Cubs team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Mohawk (Sycamore, OH). The Cubs record now stands at 1-0.

The Redbirds (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kingsway Christian (Orrville, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Kingsway Christian was nudged by Central Christian (Kidron, OH), 66-18, in a non-league contest.
